Landi s.r.l., founded in 1929 as a manufacturer of mechanical equipment, was one of the first companies in the world to patent an auto gas equipment. It developed throughout the fifties and sixties, intensifying its research activities in the field of alternative fuels for motor vehicles, and it was in this period that the first equipment for the use of Liquid Propane Gas (LPG) was manufactured.

Its constant research in the following years has allowed Landi s.r.l. to keep pace with technical and standards' evolution of vehicles, adapting its products to market requirements. As a consequence, Landi s.r.l. is now able to convert to gas operations most of the vehicles currently present on the international market. The qualified work of this firm is acknowledged in Italy and abroad, also where the testing and pollution-control standards are extremely strict.
